Intermittent Lifestyle

It's all about energy

You want to live healty but, you just can’t do it!

Every time again that intention, “Today i’m going … or rather tomorrow I’m going to start living healthier”. And even before the day has ended, you have already gave up! “No time to prepare anything, so let’s have that sandwich at the gas station anyway.” You want to do some sports, but then it rains or your favorite program starts on TV. “Ok.. but tomorrow I’ll really start.”

Who am I

I’m Pammela Starke Orthomolecular Therapist, I started this study when I became a type 1 diabetic. I know better than anyone what it’s like not to have your lifestyle in balance. I used to work shifts, ate unhealthy and was able to put myself in stressful situations again and again.

And then… I got type-1 diabetes ‘out of the blue.’ I followed the dietary guidelines of the hospital but unfortunately that brought me more bad than good. Years later i was: heavier, unhealthier and a carbohydrate addiction richer.

I studied orthomolecular therapy and CPNI (Clinical, Psychic, Neuro, Imunology) at Naturafoundation and started a Detox company with Slow Juices. Detoxing is a good starting point, but a healthy lifestyle requires more. After detoxing it only just begins!

In the confusing world of a healthy lifestyle, there are many contradictions. Some people are allowed to do this, while others are not. It makes you crazy. So confusing!

Dr. Leo Pruimboom started a new programe Intermittent Living, witch i did. This was held in Spain and I experienced what it means, and what you can do for your health in a short period of time. Together with fellow therapists we laughed, toiled and cried but above all we discovered the tools to make the switch.

Here in beautiful Portugal i launched my program “Intermittent lifestyle!”

It’s all about Energy!

Everything consists of energy (ATP), including ourselves. When we eat carbohydrates or fats, they are converted into ATP. That energy is then distributed. But can we still make optimal ATP is the question. Because of our current Lifestyle of Poor quality Food, Stress, lack of Exercise and Pollution, we are no longer able to produce ATP optimally and we therefore have chronic poor energy shortages. Disease is always caused by a prolonged lack of energy somewhere in our system. Too much stress causes us to become chronically tired and overstrained. By eating too often we get problems with our pancreas, which makes us insulin resistant. Due to a chronic lack of energy, the immune system can no longer function optimally and we get Low Grade Inflammation.

Intermittent Lifestyle makes use of proven interventions that give our bodies back what makes us human: health, movement, strength, intelligence, motivation, flexibility, creativity and resilience.

What do my clients say…

I’m someone who only starts with something, and also perseveres when I know how and why something works. Pammela knows so well how to live a healthy life and can answer any question that for the first time I really get it. I now know what I need to change and what actions I need to take to live the rest of my life as healthily as possible! Thank you Pammela!

Richard van den Heuvel

I got inexplicably ill last year. Bowel problems, weight loss, nausea, muscle aches and tired. I started working with Pammela, by following a healthier lifestyle with the support of a few supplements. Pammela has guided me well in this. I would like to advise everyone to start by tackling their lifestyle. Because that’s where the problem often lies. Now I feel good again, I don’t suffer from my intestinal problem anymore, and I also feel conditionally optimal again so that I can fully work with the horses. And all this because of a change in yourself and the help of a good therapist, who is always there for you in the difficult moments. Pammela is professional, sweet and really helps you to get your body on the road. Never expected that a few changes in your lifestyle could do so much.

Dear greeting, Desiree Schuddemat
